Computational Electromagnetics Research Laboratory

The main research field of our group is the computational modeling of physical processes in electromagnetics and electronics. Our work is at the interface between electrical engineering, advanced computing, and applied mathematics and it focuses on developing fast and efficient solvers to characterize the electromagnetic interactions, radiation, and scattering of large, multiscale, and complex objects. Computational Electromagnetics is the underpinning of a plethora of electrical, electronic, optical, wireless, geophysical sensing, and biomedical applications and plays a dominant role in the advancement of physics and engineering science.
IMT Atlantique

Our lab is part of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Mines-Télécom Atlantique (IMT Atlantique), a French grande école (an elite and top-ranked graduate engineering school) focusing on Electrical, Computer, and Energy systems Engineering. The school has resulted from the merging of the Ecole des Mines de Nantes with the ENST Bretagne and it is an internationally recognized research center with an outstanding record of past accomplishments (among others the invention of Turbo Codes). The school's high quality of teaching and research attracts a large number foreign students from more than 50 different countries in the world, ensuring the most welcoming environment for national and international scholars.
